What This Looks Like in Practice

• AI for drug discovery: Using artificial intelligence to accelerate the development of new drugs and treatments for a wide range of diseases, including cancer, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's.
• Gene editing: Developing new gene editing technologies that have the potential to cure genetic diseases and improve human health in ways that were never before possible, such as by correcting genetic mutations or introducing new genes into cells.
• Quantum computing: Pioneering the development of quantum computers that have the potential to revolutionize many fields, including medicine, materials science, and finance, by solving problems that are intractable for classical computers.
• Brain-computer interfaces: Developing new brain-computer interfaces that could enable people with disabilities to control prosthetic limbs and other devices with their minds, or even to communicate directly with computers.
• Space exploration: Developing new technologies for space exploration that could lead to new discoveries about the universe and our place in it, such as by searching for exoplanets and habitable worlds.
