Nick Northrup

Background and Experience

Nick is a dedicated professional with nearly a decade of experience at MIT, where he currently serves as the Royalty Distribution & Equity Coordinator for the TLO. In this role, Nick manages the Case Royalty Distribution (CRDR) process and Department Revenue distribution, as well as coordinating financial activities for TLO, including timeliness of payment of invoices, and creation and processing of purchase orders, and authorizing department expenditures. Nick reconciles all patent expense, royalty distribution, procurement, equity, USPTO and CPI accounts. Nick also assists with training and overseeing TLO’s financial assistants. His studies in business administration and management have equipped him with the knowledge and expertise needed to excel in the complex financial landscape.
