Lorraine Laham
Background and Experience
Lorraine’s career has focused on supporting the broad commercialization of early-stage pharmaceutical, medical device, and research reagent product opportunities through transactions, strategic planning, market research, competitive intelligence, and patent management activities. Before joining the TLO, she worked at Amazon headquarters in Seattle supporting the evaluation and development of early product opportunities for the company’s new health and wellness business unit. Prior to Amazon, she ran her own healthcare consulting practice working with startup and early-stage companies to support the development and refinement of their pipeline, IP and partnering strategies. She has additionally held local technology transfer positions at Brandeis University, Partners Healthcare (MGH/BWH), Tufts University (Tufts Medical Center) and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as well as supported the transactions, pipeline growth and partnering efforts at the regenerative medicine company Organogenesis, Inc.
Lorraine received her MBA at Boston University and PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology from Harvard Medical School followed by a post-doctoral research fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
